Inspired by the crashing waves seen on Australian beaches I designed this book cover and layout in collaboration with a wonderful group of illustrators who created custom art for each story held in this anthology. I took each independent story and created a layout that shares the playful nature in an easy to read anthology format. I was given a spot illustration designed for the start of the story and a full page illustration for each story. As I was laying out each story I had to find the best spot to place the full page illustration not only for context but also design needs.
